1
00:00:07,758 --> 00:00:09,260
Many years ago there was...

2
00:00:09,301 --> 00:00:12,471
a little girl and a little boy.

3
00:00:12,513 --> 00:00:15,516
They lived in a small village
in Mexico

4
00:00:15,558 --> 00:00:17,893
and they were best friends.

5
00:00:17,935 --> 00:00:19,895
One day
the little girl's parents

6
00:00:19,937 --> 00:00:23,023
were killed
in a terrible accident.

7
00:00:23,065 --> 00:00:24,734
Pop.

8
00:00:24,775 --> 00:00:25,943
Pop, pop, pop.

9
00:00:25,985 --> 00:00:28,112
Without her parents,

10
00:00:28,154 --> 00:00:30,656
the little girl didn't have
anywhere to live.

11
00:00:30,698 --> 00:00:34,243
So the little boy's parents
took her in to live with them

12
00:00:34,285 --> 00:00:36,996
in their castle high on a hill.

13
00:00:37,037 --> 00:00:39,331
Every night
before they went to sleep,

14
00:00:39,373 --> 00:00:41,876
the little girl and
the little boy prayed together.

15
00:00:41,917 --> 00:00:46,797
But the little girl was still
very sad about her parents,

16
00:00:46,839 --> 00:00:51,427
and scared to live in the
big castle with her new family.

17
00:00:51,469 --> 00:00:53,095
So the little boy

18
00:00:53,137 --> 00:00:54,638
gave her one
of his favorite toys

19
00:00:54,680 --> 00:00:56,932
to make her feel better.

20
00:00:56,974 --> 00:00:59,518
This made the little girl feel
much better.

21
00:00:59,560 --> 00:01:04,064
But one day, a very mean boy
stole the toy from her

22
00:01:04,106 --> 00:01:06,692
and laughed at her
when she got upset.

23
00:01:08,778 --> 00:01:13,199
So the little boy sneaked up
on the mean boy

24
00:01:13,240 --> 00:01:15,951
and snatched the toy from him...

25
00:01:19,955 --> 00:01:21,624
...and returned the toy
to the little girl.

26
00:01:21,665 --> 00:01:25,628
She felt safe and protected
by the little boy.

27
00:01:25,669 --> 00:01:28,464
When the little girl was older,

28
00:01:28,506 --> 00:01:31,926
she decided it was time
to leave the big castle

29
00:01:31,967 --> 00:01:33,761
and move to the United States.

30
00:01:36,263 --> 00:01:37,640
And she brought the toy with her

31
00:01:37,681 --> 00:01:40,100
so she would always remember
the little boy.

32
00:01:45,064 --> 00:01:48,317
To this day,
the toy still comforts her...

33
00:01:48,359 --> 00:01:51,654
every night before she sleeps.
